Available online anytime: Check out the Update on ISO 50001:2018 Training, especially if you are already using ISO 50001 and want details on changes in the 2018 version. This two-hour course with knowledge checks will help you define the next steps to update your energy management system. This training is useful to staff in companies using energy management, auditors, and practitioners assisting organizations with energy management, such as the 50001 Certified Practitioners in Energy Management. Register two or more people from your organization and Georgia Tech’s Professional Education program offers a 10% group discount.
Available online anytime: SEP 50001 Specialist Training for 2019: Gain an understanding of the updated SEP 50001 (2019) program in this online ~3-hour course with knowledge checks. This training is required for members of an SEP 50001 audit team, including an organization’s internal SEP Performance Verifier who conducts internal audits for multi-site certification.
April 8 - 11, 2019 (also available in August and December): Take the ISO 50001 Lead Auditor Classroom Training to expand your expertise. This training prepares professionals for the certification exam.
May 7 - 9, 2019: Take the SEP Performance Verifier ClassroomTraining. Energy efficiency professionals who would like to serve on an SEP certification audit team and verify energy performance improvements can attend this training course to prepare for the certification exam.
May 15, 2019: Join DOE’s next 50001 Ready Utility Network Series, a forum for utilities, public benefit administrators (PBAs), third party implementers, consultants, and regulators to interact, share success stories, and learn how to leverage 50001 Ready. In May, DOE will demonstrate new capabilities in the 50001 Ready Navigator tool for utilities and parnters to manage cohorts of customers that are implementing energy management systems.Utilities can add their branding and tailor content to better connect Navigator activities with their specific SEM or custom programs. DOE will also introduce the 50001 Ready Playbook, another resource that offers a repository to organize, save, and track completed forms and actions related to Navigator tasks.
